<p>PURPOSE:To prepare high-quality crystalline silicate efficiently, by reacting a raw material mixture consisting of a Si compound, an alkaline(earth) metal compound, a compound of one or more metals of III-VIII group of periodic table and water in the presence of a crystal nucleus. CONSTITUTION:A raw material mixture consisting of a Si compound (e.g., silica powder), an alkaline(earth) compound(e.g., NaOH, CaCl2), a compound(B2O3) of one or more metals belonging to III, IV, V, IVB, and VIII groups of periodic table is prepared. The raw material mixture is then kept in the presence of a crystal nucleus under reaction conditions at a temperature (80-300 deg.C, especially 120-200 deg.C) required to form crystalline silicate for a period (0.5-10 days, especially 5hr-5 days). Consequently, crystalline silicate having a composition in the form of oxide shown by the formula is obtained. The crystal nucleus is usually the same kind as the crystal silicate shown by the formula, or may be crystalline silicate such as mordenite, A type zeolite, etc. or their mixture.</p> |
