PURPOSE:To prevent the scorching of an object to be treated by a method in which a light source of discharge lamp and a light irradiation mechanism with a shutter are provided on a feeding path for the object to be treated, and a shutter control mechanism to automatically control the opening of the shutter according to the feeding rate of the object is provided. CONSTITUTION:In a three-color sealing printer, for example, ink on a printing material 7 printed by the first-third printing mechanisms 1-3 is dried by light irradiation mechanisms 11-13 provided just after the printing mechanisms 1-3. Each of the light irradiation mechanisms 11-13 is made up of a light source 21 of discharge lamp and a shutter 24. The rotation speed of a cylindrical roller 4 is detected by a tachometer, and according to the detected value, the shutter motor is driven to adjust the opening degree of the shutter 24. |
