PURPOSE:To set efficiently a die stored in a warehouse to a press machine, by providing waiting points for carrying in and carrying out a die to both sides of an exchanging point of a die-exchanging mechanism, and transferring the die between the points of waiting and exchanging by a connecting-transferring mechanism. CONSTITUTION:By the instructions of a computor 8, a prescribed die 21 is carried out from a warehouse 1 used for storing dies to a delivery point A, for carrying in the die 21, by a die transferring mechanism 3, and is mounted on a dolly 60 to be transferred to a carry-in waiting point B. When the die 21 is unclamped onto a bolster 17 after a press work is finished, the die 21 is engaged to an engaging member 22 of an exchanging mechanism 5 and is hauled to an exchanging point C by a moving body 20. Then the used die 21 and a waiting die 21 are respectively engaged to an engaging member 41 locating on both sides of a moving body 33 of a connecting-transferring mechanism 6, and the body 33 moves to a carryout waiting point D. During said movement, a new die 21 reaches the exchanging point C and then, is carried into a press machine 2. On the other hand, the used die 21 is mounted onto a dolly 50 at the waiting point D and is returned by the mechanism 3 to the werehouse 1 through a carry-out delivery point E. |
