PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of toner contamination by such constitution wherein toners are restrained when a copying device is not in operation. CONSTITUTION:While a copying device is not in operation, a magnet member 15 at one end of an arm 14 is in tight contact with the wall of a developing vessel 12 by the pulling force of a spring 16, and toners are restrained near an agitating bar 13 by the magnetic force thereof, whereby the scattering thereof is prevented. On the other hand, when a main switch is closed, a plunger 17 rotates the arm 14 around a fulcrum P against the spring 16, and detaches the member 15 from the vessel 12, thereby releasing the restraint of the toners. When the device inclines at a specified angle theta or above, the conductive ball 19 in a pipe 18 of an inclination detector moves to one end of the pipe 18 and the connection of electrodes 20, 21 in the central part is released, by which the plunger 17 is de-energized and the toners are restrained. The generation of toner contamination is thus prevented. |
