PURPOSE:To obtain the distribution feedback type pigment laser having large mechanical chemical stability by forming both a core layer and a clad layer by quartz. CONSTITUTION:The core layer 12 to which additives, which can adjust the refractive indices of Ge, GeO, etc., are added is formed onto the clad layer 11 constituting a substrate made of quartz. Mask material layers 22 are formed, and rectilinear concave strips 14 are arranged and formed on the upper surface side of the core layer 12 at periods T through reactive sputtering etching treatment. The mask material layer 22 are removed, the clad layer 13 made of quartz is formed through the sputtering treatment of quartz, and a laser pigment solution 15 is encased into the concave strips 14. |
