摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a small sized compressor with capacity control, in which the volumetric efficiency thereof is improved in a low speed, by a method wherein two sets or more of suction ports are provided in the compressor having many sheets of vanes and refrigerant medium is supplied independently into two vane chambers intercepted by the vanes. CONSTITUTION:When the vane 20-1 is at an intermediate position between suction ports 15, 17, the refrigerant medium is supplied into the vane chamber 18-1 from only the suction port 15. Next, the refrigerant medium supplied from the suction port 15 into the vane chamber 18-1 is intercepted by the vane 20-2 and the supply of the same from the suction port 17 is begun instead of the port 15. The suction ports are designed so as to be a1=a2 when the effective area of the suction port 15 is supposed to be a1 and the same of the port 17 is supposed to be a2, therefore, the effective area of suction of a suction flow path from the supplying source of the refrigerant medium to the vane chamber 18-1 is constant during a suction stroke at all times. Accordingly, the vane chambers 18-1, 18-2 will never interfere each other and the refrigerant medium may be sucked from either one of the two suction ports independently.
