摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the performance of an internal-combustion engine of the type in which a reference fuel injection rate is corrected according to the operational conditions of the engine, by correcting the fuel increasing rate at the time when an idle switch is made OFF irrespective of whether the engine is warmed up or not, and correcting the fuel increasing rate appropriately at the time of acceleration. CONSTITUTION:In controlling an injection valve 30 by determining a datum fuel injection rate from a signal relating to the pressure in an intake pipe, given from a sensor 23 for detecting the pressure in the intake pipe, and an engine-speed signal given from a crank angle sensor 44 in a control circuit 54, after-idle fuel increase operation is performed for correcting the fuel increasing rate extremely promptly when an accelerator pedal is depressed at the time of acceleration and an idle switch of a throttle sensor 20 is turned Off. This increasing of fuel is effected by use of a correction factor of a prescribed positive value, and thereafter, the correction factor is attenuated to zero at a prescribed attenuation speed at each rotation of the engine or at the intervals of a prescribed time. The above after-idle fuel increase is effected irrespective of whether the engine is warmed up or not.
