PURPOSE:To eliminate the application of a power supply of the extended part in case an external storage device of only main body part, by providing an interface adaptor between the external storage device of the main body and that for extension. CONSTITUTION:An interface adaptor 9 is provided between a floppy 3a of a main body part and a floppy 3b of an extended part, a turning-on switch 10 is provided at the extended part. The adaptor 9 assures the signal level of the interface at the main body part by means of a power supply for main body. When a power supply 2 for extension is applied, the level is checked for a main body power supply 1 and the power supply 2 to secure the signal level of the interface at the extended part. Therefore, the floppy 3a can be used by means of the switch 10 with the power supply 2 cut off in case the floppy 3b is not used. |
