PURPOSE:To prevent the failure such as incorrect exposure thoroughly, by providing an optical film information reading part having a light projecting system and a photodetecting system for a film information recording part for sensitivity and others provided over the specified length in the leader part of a film. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting source 10 of an optical film information reading part is provided in a sprocket 11 which rotates according to feeding of a film. A photodetecting part 17 for reading of film information receives the light applied form the light source 10 through radial optical paths 14a, 16 and the hole 4 of a film information recording part 15. The film information is read out from a known device not shown in the figure by the output of the part 17. The light emitting source in the optical information reading part which is held turned on is turned off by the loading of a film 1, whereby the failure owing to incorrect exposure or the like is thoroughly prevented. |
