PURPOSE:To easily form a plate used with a synthetic resin lattice body, by arranging many saucers in a lattice state to the lattice body, integrally forming an ear and connection part to a conductive unit, fixing the conductive unit to said lattice body through ultrasonic welding and then filling an active material. CONSTITUTION:A lead or lead alloy conductive unit 3, in which an ear 4 and connection materials 5 connected between an active material filled in a saucer 2 and the ear 4 are integrally formed, is welded by thermal welding or ultrasonic welding to a lattice body 1 of synthetic resin in which the many saucers 2 are arranged in a lattice state. And then an active material is filled into the saucer 2 of the body 1 and formed as an integral unit with the material 5 to complete manufacture of a plate. Accordingly, the manufacture is remarkably simplified, and a lead storage battery of light weight used with the synthetic resin lattice body can be formed. |
