PURPOSE:To enhance fixing efficiency, image quality, etc., by providing an electrify device opposite in polarity to the charge of a toner image just before a heater roll. CONSTITUTION:An electrifying device 15 having negative charging output is installed just before a heater roll 12. When a sheet of paper 10 is pressed between the roll 12 and a backup roll 13, since a toner 11a is strongly attached to the electrostatic charge of the device 15, an amt. of toner taken up to the side of the roll 12 decreases, and efficient fixing is executed, and image quality is enhanced because the toner 11b on the sheet 10 is fixed to the sheet 10 in a larger amt.. |
