PURPOSE:To obtain stable casting state at the time of casting a squirrel-cage rotor of a motor which is operated by distorted alternating current by providing a shortcircuit part for shortcircuiting between conductors in slots at the molten metal port in case of casting. CONSTITUTION:A squirrel-cage coil provided on a rotor core has a shortcircuit part 4a for shortcircuiting partly between conductors 1a in a slot of the rotor core at the position deeper than the conductor 1a in the slot at one side. The part 4a of the rotor is provided at the molten metal port 5 side in case of casting, thereby casting the aquirrel-cage rotor. In this manner, the reduction in the pressure of the molten conductor is eliminated at the position where the flow of the molten conductor becomes complicated due to the presence of the part 4a, thereby obtaining stable casting state. |
