PURPOSE:To adapt a system to various scales and functional relations with an inexpensive constitution, by setting and controlling the lateral relaying and the processing of process data in an upper-level function moduel by digital data from the external. CONSTITUTION:Plural function modules 31E are connected to an upper-level function module 31D through a transmission line 300. An operation mode is set to each module 31E so that the module 31E relays process data from a lower- level module to the module 31D and relays data from the module 31D to the lower-level module. Process data inputted to the module 31D is processed in the module 31D and is outputted to modules 31E. In respect to these relayings, the lateral relaing among longitudinal relayings is performed in an operation field of the module 31D. Digital data is given from an indicating and operating part to modules 31D and 31E through the transmission line 300 to determine how to perform the lateral relaying and to work process data in the module 31D. |
