PURPOSE:To obtain a material for a commutator of a miniature motor which is enhanced for the lubricating property of Cu, improved of wear resistance and stabilized for low contact resistance by adding specified amount of one or more of Sb, Fe, Mo, Pb, Se, As and Zn to the Cu. CONSTITUTION:0.5-15wt% of total of one or more of Sb, Fe, Mo, Pb, Se, As and Zn is added to Cu. For example, the contact piece 1a of a commutator 1 of a miniature motor is formed by employing a mixture of 1wt% Mo in Cu, of 2wt% Fe and 1wt% Se in Cu, or 5wt% Sb and 0.5wt% Pb in Cu. |
