PURPOSE:To detect surely occurrence of any trouble during winding by furnishing a means to generate signals in accordance with rotation of a wire bobbin, counting the number of pulses in each signal given, and thereby making it possible to sense if there is a disconnection shortage of wire length or quite missing any wire. CONSTITUTION:When a wire 2 is drawn out of a bobbin 9 by a wire supply unit or the like, the bobbin 9 rotates for an angle corresponding to the length of wire L drawn out and accordingly a disc 15 mounted fast on a flange 9' of bobbin 9 is rotated in the equal amount. Each penetration of the beam cast off by a light emitting element 20 of a sensor 18 through holes 17 provided at the periphery of the disc 15 is irradiated upon a phototransistor 21, which now gives out a pulse signal. This pulse signal is upon being amplified 25 fed into a counter 26 for counting of the number of pulses, and a discriminator circuit 27 will make an operation with the number of pulses on the basis of above mentioned wire length L to judge if there is disconnection, shortage of wire length or quite missing any wire, the output wherefrom is sent to main control device 28 for controlling drive parts. |
