PURPOSE:Dyed dentifrice capable of removing bacterial plaque completely by cleaning teeth, dyeing simultaneously bacterial plaque, brushing and cleaning further colored parts, obtained by blending common toothpowder or toothpaste with a specific amount of dyestuff for food additive as a dyeing agent. CONSTITUTION:Toothpowder or toothpaste prepared separately is blended with 0.5-5wt% dye for food additive (e.g., No.3 for food) as a dyeing agent to give dyed dentifrice. Teeth are cleaned by a common method with the dentifrice, and the complete removal of bacterial plaque can be checked immediately by finding the colored part of the teeth after gargling. Consequently, when colored parts are found, the parts are further brushed and cleaned so that the troublesome labor of the bacterial plaque test by a dyeing agent, which has been necessarily carried out separately from teeth cleaning, is eliminated at once. |
