PURPOSE:To prevent mistake in the number of turns, in a coiling device used for a bobbin of a sewing machine, by furnishing a thread take-in mechanism, in which the length of thread taking-in is set by permitting the thread to bend between a tension regulator and a thread guide with a weak force, and by carrying out taking-in of the thread surely in the initial period. CONSTITUTION:For coiling a thread 6, a bobbin 5 is set together with the end of thread 6 at the winding part 2 of a frame 1. Because at this time the thread 6 has no tension, one of the ends of the coil part 22 shall be fixed 23 to the frame 9, and a thread take-in mechanism 21 consisting of a thread taking spring, in which a retainer part 25 for the thread 6 is formed at the tip of a leg 24 instilled in linkage with the coil part 22, is bent between a tension regulator device 12 and a thread guide 11. When the thread is taken up by the bobbin 5 through thread guiding member 7 by driving the thread winding part 2, the thread taking spring 21 will rise to give the thread 6 a tension according to the strength of the coil part 22 in such a degree that no slip will be generated between this and the bobbin 5. Thus winding is performed with high reliability, when the thread is taken up round the bobbin 5. |
