PURPOSE:To cut a running web in good efficiency further high quality, by setting a cutting blade of the web diagonally to the vertical direction of a web surface when the web funished with winding on one core is cut and rewound to the other core. CONSTITUTION:When a web 3 wound to one core is finished with winding and rewound to the other core 2 to cut the running web 3, an arm 10 is depressed by a cylinder 11 to cut t e web by a blade 14 of fine file shape mounted to the arm 10. Here the blade 14 is diagonally set for the vertical direction of a surface of the running web 3 to cut the web 3 in a long stroke state throughout the total width from one ear part of the web 3. In this way, folding of a cut end of the web 3 and generation of an expansive wrinkle or the like are prevented to improve productivity and quality. |
