PURPOSE:To alleviate the vibration and noise due to slide between a brush and a commutator in a miniature motor for a vehicle or the like by bonding sheet- shaped elastic materials on the front and back surfaces of an outer edge of a support of an insulating plate which mounts and holds the brush. CONSTITUTION:Sheet-shaped elastic materials 9 are bonded on the front and back surfaces of a support of an insulating plate 6 which mounts and holds a brush 4 in contact with a rotor. For example, four projections are formed on the outer edge of the plate 6, and sheet-shaped elastic materials 9 cut in the length twice the thickness of the plate 6 as compared with the peripheral length of the projections are bonded to the front and back surfaces of the projections. The projections of the plate 6 are buried in the notches of a motor housing 3 through the materials 9 to be retained by an end bracket 3 in assembling a motor. |
