This game is suitable as a teaching aid for learning and practising arithmetic operations of the basic level but can also be used in later years as a pleasant and useful entertainment means and can also be used for solving more complex or complicated mathematical operations, for solving equations and for developing mathematical knowledge. The game consists of game elements usually manufactured as cubes and/or flat body-like or plate-like units provided with numbers or arithmetical operating symbols (+, -, = and so forth) in any number and shape, from which the relevant arithmetic operations or equations can be set up which can then be inserted at the appropriate point on games tables with square field divisions. To solve the tasks set, the corresponding arithmetic units are found in the set of games and are added to the units of the task located on the games table at the appropriate place. The units provided for designating the task set suitably have a different colour which not only provides a distinction at the beginning of play but can also be used for checking the success in play. Using several games tables, several players can also participate in the game in the manner of a competition. <IMAGE> |
