PURPOSE:To efficiently recover the metal from a surface coated metal by catalytically reacting the surface coated metal with a leaching soln. in a rotating body. CONSTITUTION:A plated scrap metal such as tinned phosphor bronze or a tinned high Ni-Fe alloy is put in a rotating body and the rotating body is rotated on the cover 1 at about 10-30r.p.m. speed to catalytically react the scrap metal with a leaching soln. such as an iron chloride soln. The rotating body is preferably provided with internal baffle plates 2. When the iron chloride soln. is used as the leaching soln., the concn. is regulated to about 6-10% and leaching is carried out for >=about 5min. |
