PURPOSE:To rationalize the function distribution and to improve the reliability, by providing a network controller in accordance with each time switch. CONSTITUTION:A network is constituted with n-number of time switch modules TSM1-TSMn and a space switch module SSM. The space switch module SSM is provided with a gate matrix GM and control memories SCM1-SCMn, and each time switch module TSMi is provided with an image memory SIMi bedises multiplexer parts MPX and DMPX, a service memory SMFi, and a control memory TCMi for this service memory. The image memory SIMi has the same constitution as the control memory SCMi corresponding to a junctor JFi of the space switch module SSM and is connected to the control memory SCMi by an information tansfer line IPi. A network controller SNPi where a network control function is added to the function of a signal processor is provided for each time switch module TSMi. |
