PURPOSE:eliminate a crank mechanism by shifting the centers of rotation of a pair of scrolls arranged while facing each other by a predetermined distance then rotating both scrolls in the same direction with same speed. CONSTITUTION:The centers of rotation of both scrolls 1, 2 are shifted by delta=pir-t, where (r) is a basic radius, (t) is the thickness of tooth and (delta) is the shifting quantity. Both scrolls 1, 2 are rotated with same speed in same direction through spur gears 18, 19, a transmission gear 20, etc.. Since a crank mechanism is not required, balancing of weight is not required while since it is constructed only through simple rotation, the reliability of strength is improved.
