PURPOSE:To execute cleaning completely even in case of an image carrying body of uneven surface, by forming a lot of receiving holes which are capable of receiving a toner, on the outside circumferential surface of a covering layer of a composite sleeve in which plural magnetic poles are provided in the inside. CONSTITUTION:On the surface side of a dielectric substance layer 1b pinching a dielectric belt 1, a cylindrical composite sleeve 3 is provided, and on its opposite side, a back roll 4 for making the belt 1 press-contact with the surface of the composite sleeve 3, and both of them are supported so as to be freely rotatable, respectively, and press and pinch-hold the belt 1 so that it can be carried. As for this composite sleeve 3, a foamed urethane rubber layer 3b is cover- formed on the outside circumferential surface of a supporting body 3a formed cylindrically by a nonmagnetic Al, etc., and on the surface of the rubber layer 3b, innumerable independent receiving holes 3c are formed so as to be capable of receiving an untransferred toner 2. This hole 3c is formed, for instance, so that 0.1-0.3mm. inside diameter and >=0.1mm. depth and <=95% the area occupancy percentage in the surface area of the rubber layer 3b. |
