PURPOSE:To lower the low range of air fuel ratio by supplying air from an air bleed path into a bypass when the rotational frequency of an engine is higher than a predetermined one in the decelerated running of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:When the rotational frequency of an engine is higher than about 1,000rpm in the decelerated running, a solenoid 37 is energized to open a shut- off valve 35. Thus, air is supplied from air bleed paths 34, 26 into a bypass 28, and fuel flowing in the bypass 28 is reduced so that about 20-30% of total supplied fuel amount in idling is continuously supplied from a nozzle 23. The engine is accelerated from such a condition, or fuel supplied into a cylinder is immediately increased even when the running of the engine is shifted to idling. Thus, the range of fuel reduction in the speed reduction range of running can be lowered to about 1,000rpm. |
