PURPOSE:To provide the titled dye composition having high solubility in water or alkaline aqueous solution and capable of dyeing in high color yield, and containing a dye and a condensation product of a specific alkylnaphthalenesulfonic acid and formaldehyde. CONSTITUTION:A reactive dye composition for cellulosic fiber, containing 20- 99wt% dye of formula and 1-80wt% compound obtained by condensing an alkylnaphthalenesulfonic acid with formaldehyde and having a sulfonation degree of 50-150% and an average condensation degree of 1.1-8.0. The alkylnaphthalenesulfonic acid is, preferably, e.g. 1-4C alkylnaphthalenesulfonic acid, and the condensation product with formaldehyde can be used in the form of alkali metal salt.
