PURPOSE:To provide a sensitive material with an emulsion which undergoes little change in the sensitivity in a dissolved state before coating by incorporating a sensitizing dye having a specified structure and one or more kinds of specified compounds into one or more emulsion layers. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of sensitizing dye represented by formula I or II and at least one kind of compound represented by formula III are incorporated into at least one of the emulsion layers of a silver halide photographic sensitive material. In the formulae I, II, each of Z1-Z4 is a group of atoms required to form a hetero ring, R1 is carboxy-substituted alkyl, R2 is alkyl, aryl or the like, each of R3-R6 is H, <=4C alkyl, aryl or the like, each of l, m, n, q and r is 1 or 2, each of R7 and R8 is alkyl, alkenyl, aralkyl, aryl or a hetero ring, each of R9-R12 is H, alkyl, aralkyl or aryl, x is 1 or 2 and each of y and z is 1, 2 or 3. In the formula III, Y is an aromatic group or a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic group. |
