PURPOSE:To raise a temperature of a photosensitive body, and to prevent a drop of sensitivity, by irradiating the photosensitive body by such long wavelength light as the photosensitive body does not have sensitivity, simultaneously with an optical image exposure process, or between a uniform charging process and the optical image exposure process. CONSTITUTION:First of all, an Se-Te compound photosensitive body 1 is uniformly charged by a charger 2, subsequently, an original 4 on a platen 3 is irradiated by an image exposure lamp 5, and optical image exposure is executed to the photosensitive body 1 through mirrors 6, 8, a lens 7 and a slit 9. In this case, by a long wavelength lamp, such light as this photosensitive body 1 has no sensitivity, for instance, infrared light is superposed on the optical image exposure through a slit 6 and is irradiated to the photosensitive body 1. As a result, on the photosensitive body 1, a latent image is formed and is converted to a visible image by a developing device 11. It is transferred onto a transfer form 13 through a transfer device 12, is fixed 14, and a toner image is fixed onto the transfer form 13. |
