Balance of the very low-slung design

The very low-slung design of the balance is achieved by means of a parallel guide with horizontal levers. However, horizontal frictional forces can occur at points of contact and, under some circumstances, can falsify the weighing result. The invention minimises the frictional forces by shifting individual points of contact onto moveable elements which can be displaced relative to the lever base with low friction. The invention can be used in any parallel guide with horizontal levers.
