Portable power-driven soil-working appliance, especially hoeing appliance

The portable and hand-guided soil-working appliance is equipped with a push rod (2) mounted so as to be longitudinally displaceable and oscillatable in the longitudinal direction (12, 13). One end of the push rod (2) is connected to an exchangeable soil-working implement, for example a hoe (4). In a preferred embodiment, the push rod (2) is connected to a piston (1a) of a piston/cylinder arrangement (1). A handle (5) for guiding the appliance is fastened to the cylinder (1b) designed as a housing. The push rod (2) is oscillated by a controlled feed of a pressure medium by way of the lines (8 and 9). The soil-working appliance moves towards the operator in its working position and thus prevents the freshly hoed surface from being trodden on. Moreover, easy soil-working is possible in places of difficult access as a result of the compact design of the appliance. <IMAGE>
