PURPOSE:To facilitate the continuous winding of a covering material to a tubular object, by pulling out a covering material sheet from a roll, contacting it to the tubular object, winding up its both side edges and making them to be overlapped and pressed. CONSTITUTION:A plastic raw material is charged into the hopper 1A of an extruder 1 and a tubular object 2 is extrusion-molded. Then, it is cooled in a cooling bath 3, taken up by the rolls 4, 4 and sent into a covering material winder 5. The protruding edge 6B of a covering material 6 which is wound up, being guided by the guide plates 52, is made to overlap an opposing edge on the upper side of the tubular object 2 moving between the guide plates 52, an electrode plate 55 being inserted below its lower side and the tubular object 2 is continuously covered with the covering material 6 by a press roll 53 and the guide rolls 54, 54. |
