摘要 PURPOSE:To provide an organic electrolyte battery having low internal resistance and good storage performance by discharging preliminarily by superimposing alternating current having amplitude larger than the value of constant direct current in constant direct current, after a battery is assembled. CONSTITUTION:A battery is assembled using lithium as a negative active mass and manganese dioxide as a positive active mass. The battery is discharged preliminarily by superimposing alternating current having larger amplitude than the value of constant direct current in constant direct current of 5-25mA/ cm<2>. The constant direct current of 5-25mA/cm<2> is obtained based on the area of lithium facing the positive electrode. The quantity of electricity being discharged preminarily is preferable to limit in the range of 1.5-5% of the positive capacity. The frequency of alternating current being superimposed depends on a battery size, shape, a positive composition, and a kind of electrolytes, but the range of 0.5-100Hz is preferable. The amplitude of alternating current being superimposed is preferable to limit in the range which is larger than but 2.5 times or less of the value of constant direct current, because when it is too large current, the reaction area is decreased and the closed circuit voltage is decreased by coming off of depositted lithium.
