PURPOSE:To drive an electrostatic type speaker unit by one electric power source, by driving one of a diaphragm electrode and a fixed electrode by voltage corresponding to the value of binary code bit and driving another by voltage corresponding to the value of remaining bit. CONSTITUTION:Voltage corresponding to the most significant bit 3 of a code is applied to a diaphragm electrode 14. Voltage is applied to a fixed electrode 15 corresponding to the weight of remaining bits 2, 1, 0 in a form that the bit value is inverted compared with the most signicant bit. Sound pressures generat- ed from these units are synthesized acoustically and filtered. By this way, necessity of using two power sources, positive and negative, as driving voltage source is eliminated. |
