PURPOSE:To obtain photosensitive polyester having sensitivity to ultraviolet rays and visible light, by using phenylenebis (alpha-cyanobutadienecarboxylic acid) as an acid component. CONSTITUTION:Phenylenebis (alpha-cyanobutadienecarboxylic acid) represented by general formulaI(where Ar is m- or p-phenylene) is contained as an acid component of polyester by at least 10mol% of the constituent units of the acid components, and units of terephthalic, acid, isophthalic acid or the like represented by general formula II (where Q is a bivalent org. group) may be contained as other acid component. Ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol or the like represented by formula III (where R is a vibalent org. group, preferably a <=12 C org. group having 0 optionally) is used as the diol component of the polyester. |
