PURPOSE:To achieve a digital indication by an immediately automatic calculation of discomfort index D1 defined by an equation. CONSTITUTION:A transistor 1a provided in a temperature sensor 1 has such a property as varying in the electric resistance in proportion to absolute temperature that the potential VA at the point A varies with changes in the temperature T. A humidity sensor 2a of a humidity detector 2 changes in the electric resistance wih respect to the AC power source S as the surrounding relative humidity H varies, which causes a change in the primary current of a transformer 2b connected to the humidity sensor 2a and then, in the voltage on the secondary side of the transformer 2b. The potential VB at the point B varies with changes in the relative humidity H. On the other hand, in response to a command of a conversion program cp memorized in a main memory 5b of a microcomputer 5, an input signal selector 3 receives a signal sent out from an I/O port 5b and an A/D converter 4 into which an analog signal VA of the temperature T was selectively inputted converts the signal into a digital signal. Then, the converter 4 selects and converts an analog signal VB of the relative humidity H into a digital signal. Based on the values of the temperature T and the relative humidity H, a microcomputer 5 computes discomfort index D1 by a conversion program and the index D1 is indicated on the digital display 6 together with the temperature T and relative humidity H. |
