<p>PURPOSE:To aim at preventing a tank from being damaged, by setting intervals between the tank and stopper pads so that they may correspond to the amount of contraction in the tank due to a charge of low-temperature liquid inside. CONSTITUTION:The setting position of an inside stopper pad 7 is a position where a tank comes in contact with a periphery flange 6 in a state of being most contracted in size as the tank is filled up with low-temperature liquid inside, while the setting position of an outside stopper pad 8 is, in turn, a position where the tank comes in contact with the peripheral flange 6 after being restored to the original state in size due to reexpansion as being emptied. Therefore, intervals between both inside and outside stopper pads should be so set that they may correspond to the amount of radial contraction in the tank so as to obviate any damage to the tank.</p> |
