PURPOSE:To prevent the flame from spreading over a top board by a structure wherein the top board is provided at the upper part of a combustion section and a topped cylindrical flame intercepter is provided on the undersurface, which is opposite to the combustion section, of the top board and furthermore openings are formed on the peripheral wall of the flame intercepter in a kerosene stove or the like. CONSTITUTION:A combustion cylinder 8 equipped with a heat radiating net 9 at its upper part is arranged in a box-shape main body cabinet 1 with an open frontal face. In this case, the top board 10 equipped with exhaust holes 11 in its periphery is provided above the combustion tube 8. In addition, a topped cylindrical flame intercepter 12 with the openings 12a on its peripheral wall is provided on the undersurface of the top board 10 at the position, which is located nearly at the central part of the top board 10 and at the same time is opposed to the combustion tube 8. Convexities 12b to keep a fixed space A between the undersurface of the top board 10 and the top of the flame intercepter 12 is formed on the top surface of the flame intercepter 12 and used for mounting the flame intercepter 12 to the top board 10. Due to the structure as mentioned above, the flame extending upward from the radiating net 9 enters in the flame intercepter 12 and escapes horizontally fromthe openings 12a in the form of rectified flames divided into small pieces of flames, resulting in turning to be impossible to attain the exhaust holes 11. |
