PURPOSE:To properly ignite and burn a burner according to the kind of gas, by opening and closing a solenoid-operated valve by enabling to arbitrarily set the required time in a timer, by combining a thermocouple which has quick rising thermo-electromotive force with one rising time thereof is comparatively slow. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid-operated valve 1 is provided in a gas flow path, and a thermocouple E1 having quick rising thermo-electromotive force, and a thermocouple E2 having comparatively slow rising thermo-electromotive force, are connected in series by the coil 2 of a solenoid-operated valve 1, so that each thermo-electromotive force can be cancelled each other. The solenoid-operated valve 1 connected in the circuit is opened by the thermo-electromotive force of a thermocouple E1 attracting the valve 1, and it is closed by the thermoelectromotive force of a thermocouple E2 releasing its attraction, and the required time is set in the timer according to the difference between the values of each thermo-electromotive force of thermocouples E1 and E2. The thermocouple E1 is fixed to a burner holder 4 by a fitting lug 5, together with a burner 3, and the time for a timer can be controlled according to the kind of gas by selecting the position of a thermocouple E1 at an arbitrary distance l. |
