PURPOSE:To both perform rotary motion and reciprocating motion further combined motion between these rotary and reciprocating motions and form a divice to compact size, by integrally building a set of angular contact bearings to a spline bearing of a ball spline. CONSTITUTION:A device is constituted by a ball spline 1 and a set of angular contact bearings 2a, 2b, and each bearing 2a, 2b is constituted by many balls 8 arranged in a ball rolling groove 7 in an internal wall of an outer ring 6 and holder 9 preventing falling of the ball 8. And almost circular arc shaped rolling surfaces 11 for the ball to roll are formed to a symmetrical position in a corner part of peripheral grooves 10 in an outer cylinder 5 of a spline bearing 3 while a flange 13 for mounting to a housing 12 is provided to an external wall of either one of the ring 6 of the bearing 2a or 2b, further a spacer 14 adjusting a pre-load applied to the bearings 2a, 2b is interposed between the bearings 2a, 2b. |
