PURPOSE:To reduce adverse effects on the characteristics, such as unequilibrium in current, by a method wherein windings for two phases are selected such that 1/4 coils in the winding group for one phase have the predetermined times number of windings relative to individual 3/4 coils in the winding group for the other phase. CONSTITUTION:The number of windings of coils (U2-V22) among the U-phase winding group and coils (V7-V11) among the V-phase winding group are selected to be 0.62-0.67 time relative to coils (V4-V8) and (U1-U5) among the opposite winding group, respectively. The number of winding of each coil in the W-phase winding group is selected to be 0.90-0.96 time of that of those coils among the U- and V-phase winding groups which are not subjected to change in the number of windings. With the above construction, it becomes possible to balance the pole gaps in magnetomotive force distributions for the respective phases as well as the magnitudes of magnetomotive forces. |
