PURPOSE:To insulate a rotor coil irrespective of the length of a shaft by containing a core and coil section of a rotor in the interior, mounting the rotor in an insulating container, and impregnating in vacuum or under pressure at the core and the coil section with insulating resin. CONSTITUTION:The upper half of a container body 5 is opened, a rotor to be insulated is projected externally at both ends of a rotor shaft 1, contained in the body 5, the vicinity of both base ends of the shaft 1 are sealed with packings 6 and flanges 7, upper and lower half bonding parts are selaed to close the body 5, and insulating resin is impregnated in vacuum or under pressure to the core 2 and coil section 3 of the rotor in the insulating container 4. In this manner, the prescribed full impregnation is performed in the range necessary to insulating with resin irrespective of the length of the shaft. |
