PURPOSE:To improve characteristics of a motor by a construction wherein a rotor core slot is formed with a wedge-like portion at a rotor core slit thereof. CONSTITUTION:A wedge-like portion 113 is formed at a rotor core slit 116 of a rotor core 108 on the side to be cut by a cutting bit 114. Since the wedge-like portion 113 has a larger contact area because of its wedge-like form, the contact resistance between a secondary conductor 109 and the rotor core 108 becomes also larger. Thus, when the secondary conductor 109 is poured, it has no tendency to flow into the wedge-like portion 113 and instead the wedge-like portion 113 is filled with gas 112 generated at the time of pouring, so that a completely vacant space is formed there because of its specific structure. By so doing, it becomes possible to maintain the resistance between the secondary conductors and hence to improve characteristics of the motor. |
