Electrolyte which decreases the emission of gaseous sulfuric acid on charging and discharging, can be charged in a short time, and prevents the pole-plates from corroding were prepd. Thus, 60-70wt.% H2SO4 in conventional battery was substituted with a mixed soln. of MgSO47H2O 15-20, Al2(SO3)3 H2O 45-50wt.%, and H2O and PbSO4 was removed then 0.6wt.% NH4BF4 (on the basis of mixed soln. substituent) was added to give electrolyte of lead storage battery.
