PURPOSE:To automatically stabilize a tensioner member and a pressing member therefor in each inwardly tilted position by inwardly pressing and putting both members in tilting motion by means of a spring and allowing them only to tilt inwardly by means of a one way clutch. CONSTITUTION:When a chain 2 is extended, a pressing member 6 is pressed by means of a spring 9 to make a tilting motion inwardly and is also stabilized in its position by means of a one way clutch 10. That is, said member 6 is kept stable in each inwardly tilted position since no return motion is available in this position. |
