PURPOSE:To facilitate and ensure the mounting of a vibration-absorbing helical spring, by fitting the small-diameter portion of the spring at one end in the spiral groove of the peripheral surface of a vibrating shaft and fitting the large- diameter portion of the spring at the other end in the spiral groove of the inside surface of a support. CONSTITUTION:A vibrating shaft 1 in the body of a vibratory machine such as a prime mover is laid in the cylindrical opening of a support 2. Vibration-absorbing helical springs 6, each of which comprises a small-diameter portion 4 and a large-diameter portion 5 spirally connected to each other, are provided between the vibrating shaft 1 and the inside surface 3 of the support 2. The small-diameter straight cylindrical coil 7 of the small-diameter portion 4 is fitted in the spiral groove 9 of the peripheral surface of the vibrating shaft 1. The large-diameter straight cylindrical coil 8 of the large-diameter portion 5 is fitted in the spiral groove 10 of the inside surface 3 of the support 2. According to this constitution, the vibration-absorbing springs for a vibration-proof structural body are efficiently and surely mounted. |
