A reversing device, for example a back drive device, which can be placed between a drive motor and an outward propellant in a machine, and consisting of an ingoing axle (1) and an outgoing axle (2), and a planet gear (3), arranged between the ingoing and outgoing axles with a planet transporter (13), and two series of planet wheels (15, 17) where the planet transporter (13), via a coupling, e.g. a friction coupling (4), is loaded against the outgoing axle (2) during forward propulsion. The planet transporter is equipped with a brake (5) which, on being activated, is designed to load the planet transporter (13) against the rotation whereby the braking gear overrides the locking mechanism in the coupling (4) or produces an automatic release of the coupling (4), whereby the planet gear, via the separate planet wheels (15, 17) and a cog ring (19) in the outgoing axle, produces a propulsion of the outgoing axle in a direction opposite to the direction of rotation of the ingoing axle.<IMAGE> |
