PURPOSE:To soften the stimulus to the eyes of a user without impairing the radiation effect and thermal efficiency by a structure wherein a light transmitting plate having an uneven front surface is arranged so as to cover heaters at the front part of the infrared ray lamp heater sealed with inert gas therewithin. CONSTITUTION:A reflecting plate 2 is mounted in a box-shape main body 1 with an opening at its front. Furthermore, the infrared ray lamp heaters 4 sealed with inert gas therewithin are arranged through a supporting frame 5 at the focal point parts of the reflecting surfaces 3 of the reflecting plate 2 at its front. The light transmitting plate 6 is mounted to the main body 1 in such a manner as to cover the heaters 4 at the front of said heaters 4. Said light transmitting plate 6 is made of infrared ray transmitting material such as heat resisting glass. The back surface 6a, which faces against said heaters 4, is made flat and smooth, while the front surface 6b, which faces toward outside of the apparatus, is made uneven. Owing to the structure as described above, the heat rays radiated forward from the heaters 4 are past through the light transmitting plate 6 and diffusingly radiated being refracted with the front surface 6b, resulting in softening the stimulus to the eyes of the user. |
