PURPOSE:To enable to set the temperature based upon the temperature to be utilized of hot water at a hot water tap and to shorten the time that the water temperature at the hot water tap takes to reach the set temperature by a method wherein the heat quantity to heat a hot water supplier is controlled by a controller based upon a signal from a temperature detector to detect the mean temperature of the temperatures prevailing along the total length of a piping. CONSTITUTION:The detector 3' to detect the means temperature of the temperatures prevailing along the total length of the piping 7, which connects the hot water outlet 2 of the hot water supplier 1 with the hot water tap 6 is provided. A control valve 4 is controlled in order to regulate gas supply quantity by means of a controlling unit 5' based upon the signal generated from the detector 3'. Now, when the hot water tap 6 is open, the control balve 4 is fully open so as to heat feed water and the conditions, that the water temperature at the hot water outlet 2 is raised sharply while the hot water temperature at the hot water tap 6 is raised gradually later than that at the hot water outlet 2 due to the heat capacity of the piping 7 and left far below the set value at the time when the hot water temperature at the hot water outlet 2 reaches the set temperatre to be utilized, are resulted. At this time, because the detector 3' detects the mean temperature of the piping 7, the hot water temperature at the hot water tap 6 reaches the set value in a short time and the hot water temperature to be actually utilized can be set. |
