PURPOSE:To shorten the flame quenching time when the titled apparatus turned over, by providing a porous member at an opening as well as to divide a flame chamber into a plurality of chambers, in a combustor to which outer side of a wick guide cylinder a ring-form chamber is provided and the chamber is communicated to the open air by the intermediary of an opening which is opened when the wick is descended. CONSTITUTION:The titled apparatus is composed in such a manner that a cylindrical wick 4 is provided in a vertically movable manner between cylindrical inner and outer guide cylinders 2 and 3 which are provided in upright passing through the center part of a fuel tank 1. A ring-formed opening 5, which is opened when the wick 4 is descended at the time when flames are extinguished, is provided to the upper part of the outer guide cylinder 3, and a ring-formed chamber 6 is provided in the outer side of a guide cylinder 3 which is in an opposite side of the wick 4 on the side of an opening 5. In this case, a plurality of plate bodies 7 are provided to the ring-formed chamber 6 to divide the chamber 6 into a plurality of chambers, having gaps in the circumferential direction, at the same time, a ring-formed porous member 15 made by wire sheet is provided between the plate body 7 and the opening 5, having a predetermined interval. In addition, an air inlet port 8 is provided to each divided chamber 6. |
