PURPOSE:To avoid the necessity of a link mechanism in an engine room by installing a control shaft and a bell crank onto a column tube and connecting said column tube to a speed change gear through a push-pull cable. CONSTITUTION:A shift lever 50 installed onto a control shaft 40 revolves a bell crank 70 through an operating lever 60 and a connecting rod 80. Said bell crank 70 is connected to a push-pull cable 90 connected to an automatic speed change gear. The detent mechanism consisting of a pin 47, detent plate 48, and a spring 45 is installed onto the control shaft 40. The push-pull cable 90 can be directly connected to the manual valve of the speed change gear, and thus installation of a link mechanism in an engine room can be eliminated. |
